If you’re new here, this whole thing started long before it was a shop, a brand, or even an idea. It began with just me and my best friend hanging out online and streaming for fun back in the winter of 2014. We didn’t have a plan. We just wanted to play games and mess around. Somehow, that turned into a small community. On our best nights, we’d have around 50 people watching us act like complete idiots in our favorite video games. It was chaotic, goofy, and honestly some of my favorite times gaming with my best friends.

When I returned to college at the end of winter break, things slowed down, and by 2015 everything had shifted. Streaming wasn’t the same anymore. Platforms had changed, become way more accessible, and we were now competing with tons of other streamers for an audience. Around 2019, we rebranded everything we had built and gave it a new name to represent our now bigger group of friends: Total Dweebs. It wasn’t just the two of us anymore. It was friends, family, and anyone who wanted to join in. We streamed on and off for a few years, went to gaming conventions, hit comic-cons, and just had fun being silly, weird, and nerdy together.

But life had already gotten busier, and keeping consistency was harder as our careers and friend groups evolved. The bond, though? That never went away. The memories, the laughs, the community. That’s what has always stuck and I have remained in touch with many of the friends I’ve made streaming over the years.

Now, in 2025, I’ve decided to steer Total Dweebs into a new chapter. While we’ll probably jump back into content one day (because once a dweeb, always a dweeb), I’ve also found myself exploring some other nerdy avenues like trading cards, collectibles, and convention finds.

At the end of the day, I think Total Dweebs has always been about celebrating the stuff we love and enjoying it together. Whether that’s late-night gaming or con/travelling adventures. The format might change, but I like to think the passion and sincerity remain the same.
